FITNESS FRIDAY – Top 5 Tips to a Sexy Summer Back!

You know what they say – you want to make a great impression when you enter a room and the same when you leave (especially with wearing summer tanks and strapless dresses!) So here are my top 5 DO’s for bringing Sexy BACK!

Scrub a dub! Not just good for pretty skin but circulation & detoxifing the body too!

 

To get a back you can be proud to show off here are 5 things you can do and instantly see changes:

1.    Stand up straight! Now I know I sound like your mama telling you this but it is true if you pull your shoulders back and stand up tall you will look slimmer and instantly engage your back muscles to give you that streamlined look you are going for!

2.    Get the proper gear in place! That is right if you want to avoid the back bulge (everybody does) you need to invest in some proper support  for “the ladies”. Meaning go get a pro to measure you and let you know the best support for you. Chances are you having been wearing the same size bra forever and even more likely, it is the wrong size!!

3.    Exfoliate! Yes, I know it can be tough to reach those hard to reach areas by your shoulder blades but there are ways to do it even if you are not like gumby and can stretch your arms all the way back there. Get yourself a back washer (loofah on a stick or even better, a dry brush) et voila! There is nothing sexier than soft skin all over.

4.    Work that core! This means all around not just the superficial muscles in the front chicks.  For women who are trying to lose weight for beach season, Adam Kemp’s bikini body plan is a great place to start for useful information about getting your best bikini body. So flip over on your belly and get down with some Supermans (or Superchicks as we like to call them in house.) This move will tighten and tone your lower back area helping you whittle your middle and reduce lower back pain, double bonus right!

5.    Get some serious strength time in with your back. Make sure you focus on the upper, mid and lower areas when toning so you help to define those sexy muscles that help keep you standing tall.
