WELLNESS WEDNESDAY: Our Top 5 Gym Bag “Must Haves” Featured on CTV Morning

Hey Chicks,

Happy Wednesday! So today’s post in going to be short and sweet as I am working on finalizing the fitness challenge (think Amazing race meets an amazing workout) for our “Sweats & Sass” FIT CHICKS Weekend Retreat coming up on Oct 26 at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie ON. I am so pumped about this retreat! It’s a mix fitness, yoga, nutrition, Zumba plus the location is gorgeous and we get to enjoy the beautiful fall while getting our sweat on. Plus, it’s not all sweats. We add some “sass” because we also get to dress up pretty, have a little vino (or a mocktail too!) and just have a little celebration chick style- I wish I could just attend cuz it’s gonna be that awesome!

Last week Chief Chick Sergeant Jackie and I headed to Ottawa to hang with some of our fave peeps from CTV Morning. We always love sweating up a storm in my hometown but were extra pumped to let them know that we just found out Rogers TV Ottawa has picked up our TV Series “Shape Up with FIT CHICKS” and it will launch in the Nation’s capitol on Oct 6 – ya baby! We also had 2 awesome spots talking about 2 of our favorite things – tabatas &  tips! Check it out

Oh and chicks if you love tabatas, this week’s episode of “Shape Up with FIT CHICKS” Bootcamp is called “I heart Tabatas!” and is a fierce workout. Plus, my chick Jen who lost reached her 100lb weigh loss goal this year is in the episode rocking the Level 2 option. She is a natural TV star :)
