Top 3 “Fibre for Fat Loss” Superfoods

Are you eating enough fibre?

If you want to lose fat effortlessly while feeling full, then you need to eat a fibre rich diet! Fibre slows down digestion, moves food though your digestive system and helps control blood sugar. When it comes to fibre our goal as women is to get 25-40 grams of fibre a day – however you need to make sure you spread your fibre throughout the day and add it to every meal – aim for 10 grams a meal and you will meet your fibre goal effortlessly!

So what are our top 3 favourite fibre superfoods?

1. Raspberries

Not only do raspberries have 9 grams of fibre per cup, but they are alos low in calories and sugar. Add them to your yogurt, smoothie, or salad for a fibre boost!

2. Avocados

Not only are they a delicious fat, but they are packed with 9 grams of fibre per cup of avocado. Add them to your sandwich, salad, smoothie, or just eat on their own for a delicious snack!

3. Chia seeds

Chia seeds have about 10 grams of fibre in an ounce! Sprinkle in salads or smoothies, make chia pudding or add to homemade baked goods!
