Hey Chicks!!
I just could NOT control myself around food today. I think it has to do with that time of the month coming up in a couple of days. I still ate whole, real foods…but I was completely out of control!
I can’t resist a bargain – and I should, just cuz something is 50% off doesn’t mean I need to buy it. Anyway, I found this fab double smoked aged cheddar at Superstore for half price. I never ever buy cheese as I don’t like to eat dairy, and I cannot control my portions with cheese. It wasn’t a huge piece – about 200 grams – but apart from giving the girls a couple pieces each I scarfed down the whole thing! But I am not feeling guilty – I don’t want to be in that diet mentality. The cheese is gone and I will move on!!!
A friend of mine gave me a recipe for a practically sugar free flourless chocolate cake which I made tonight for dessert. I over cooked it a little – the recipe was supposes to be microwaved, but I am one of those weird people who think microwaved food is harmful, so I don’t have one – but anyway, it was still super delish! Not sweet at all, so it wouldn’t appeal to everyone. I will post the recipe tomorrow, but here is a pic. (Imagine it to be soft and moist and not as crusty as it looks…lol)
Goals for tomorrow – stick to the plan, eat until satisfied, not stuffed and stop eating earlier. I was so busy tonight I sat down to dinner at 10pm. Now I am stuffed, trying to finish off some work and hit the sack.
