Hey Chicks!!
Here I am finishing off Day 1 of my healthy eating challenge. I would kill for a cup of tea today – but I have kicked the caffeine habit before, and this killer headache should be gone by Wednesday.
So, here are my eats today (not the best, since I hadn’t pre planned my work meals, but still a pretty good day!)
Brekkie – 3 eggs cooked in 2 tsp coconut oil
Snack – Green smoothie made with strawberries, spinach, whey protein powder, flax oil and almond milk
Lunch – 2 poached eggs, turkey sausage and grilled tomato (bought a meal at work)
Snack – 1/2 avocado, lick of a spoon of peanut butter
Dinner – lettuce wraps filled with grilled chicken, mushrooms, zucchini, red pepper and onions (super yum!)
I would really really really love to snack on something right now! I’m not really hungry, so I am just going to have some herbal tea.
I am trying not to eat after supper. Not that there is anything wrong with that if you are truly hungry, but honestly I turn into a bit of a human vaccuum after dinner….stuffing my face while telling myself “i’ll start tomorrow…”
Gonna try and get an early night, this daylight saving time is killing me! I have to remember to wear my pedometer tomorrow – gotta make sure I get those 10000 steps!
