Train,<\/strong> creates her own schedule and still gets to be an amazing, healthy mama to her 3 girls and most importantly, she LOVES her work helping inspire others.<\/p>\n<p>We asked her to share a little about how her life has changed in the last little bit before we get into her yummy recipe:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>&#8220;My fav part of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/programs\/fitness-nutrition-expert\/\">Fitness &amp; Nutrition Expert Program<\/a> was gaining the foundation and confidence to take the leap forward with my passion of fitness and nutrition on a schedule that worked with my family (classes were in online in the evening so totally worked with my schedule!) \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Now,\u00a0I am \u00a0not only running my own business (Ybe.Nourish.Train in Southern Ontario) but also get to make a schedule that works with my kids schedules so I am the person who gets them off to school \u00a0in the morning as well as picks them up at the end of the day. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>I have three daughters ages 9, 7 and 4.5, healthy living helps me become a better mom. By being a role model of fueling and training my body in a healthy way, I also get to teach them to make healthy lifelong choices along the way \ud83d\ude42<\/em>\u00a0&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks Yvonne, now we can&#8217;t wait to try this recipe&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>SPECIAL GUEST POST: Pumped Up Pumpkin Mousse, by Yvonne B.<\/h3>\n<p><strong>I heart DESSERTS!!\u00a0<\/strong> Anyone who knows me knows I am racing you to the dessert bar and I am going to win!\u00a0 When we were given <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/programs\/fitness-nutrition-expert\/\">this nutrition assignment<\/a> to create a Complete in 3 Approved recipe for our blog &amp; clients, I knew it had to be dessert related.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I also like to create healthy alternatives to any dish I create for my family as I believe we are what we eat. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I put my inner dessert goddess to work keeping in mind the FIT CHICKS \u201cComplete in 3\u201d rule \u00a0(must include a protein, fibre &amp; healthy fat), and created this savory Pumped-Up Pumpkin Mousse.\u00a0<\/strong> I came up with the idea from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Autumn-Calabreses-FIXATE-Cookbook-Recipes\/dp\/B0172BGXS2\">Fixate recipe book<\/a>.\u00a0 They have these amazing pumpkin balls that taste so yummy but wanted to transform them into a dessert.\u00a0 \u00a0With my tweaking it came under 5g of sugar per a serving and includes 9g of Fiber!<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is high in fat but the \u201cGood Fats\u201d, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated<\/strong>, which are both known for improving blood cholesterol levels, as well as controlling insulin levels and blood sugar levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This recipe also has a substantial amount of protein and carbohydrates to refuel post workout<\/strong>. \u00a0Who wouldn\u2019t want dessert after a workout?!<\/p>\n<h3>CHICK FEED:\u00a0 Pumped Up Pumpkin Mousse<\/h3>\n<p>Servings 6 | Time 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-7253\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/PUMPKIN-MOUSSE-2-300x264.jpg\" alt=\"PUMPKIN MOUSSE 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/PUMPKIN-MOUSSE-2-300x264.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/PUMPKIN-MOUSSE-2.jpg 590w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Ingredients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 cup (48g) &#8211; Organic Coconut Flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup (128g) &#8211; Pure Pumpkin Puree<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup (49g) &#8211; Pea Protein<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup (16g) \u2013 Cacao Powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup (28g) \u2013 Shredded Unsweetened Coconut<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup (71g) \u2013 Smooth Natural Peanut Butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup (46g) \u2013 Pecan Pieces<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp \u2013 Pure Maple Syrup<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp \u2013 Pumpkin Pie Spice<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp \u2013 Pure Vanilla Extract<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bc cup &#8211;
