WATER BOTTLE with a twist<\/h3>\n<p>Gotta get that hydration in chicks!<strong> I always have a large bottle of icy cold water with me<\/strong> (I find I do most of my daily water consumption around workout time and I like it COLD during this time). \u00a0The night before, i fill with about 1 inch with water and put in the freezer. \u00a0Then fill up at your workout destination (also keeps your gym bag lighter instead of lugging around a liter of water!). If you&#8217;re looking for a cute ad sturdy water bottle to take with you to the gym, check out this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waterbottleshop.co.uk\/\">water bottle shop<\/a> that sells eco-friendly water bottles!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extra tips: \u00a0Forget gatorade! <\/strong> Add a little lemon juice, squeeze of honey (or stevia) and a couple shakes of salt to replenish your electrolytes. \u00a0Cheaper and better for you \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h3>2.\u00a0 A PROTEIN \/ CARB SNACK<\/h3>\n<p>If you checked out my <a title=\"FIT CHICKS TV: Top 3 \u201cHow to Eat Post Workout for Amazing Results!\u201d Tips\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/2013\/10\/fit-chicks-tv-top-3-how-to-eat-post-workout-for-amazing-results-tips\/\">&#8220;How to eat post workout&#8221; vid on FIT CHICKS TV,<\/a> you will know that you \u00a0should eat after a workout (and no you are not gonna store all those calories you just burned!)<strong> A post workout snack is super important to replenish your lost glycogen stores<\/strong> (aka your energy!) and help repair your muscles.<\/p>\n<p>Not only WHEN you eat but WHAT you eat can help you reach your fitness goals.\u00a0<strong>Aim to eat a snack within 45 mins of your workout<\/strong>.\u00a0 It should contain only <strong>protein and carbs <\/strong>(no fats as this will slow the digestion and we want those nutrients back into your muscles speedy Gonzales styles!). \u00a0As a snack, I aim to <strong>be approx. 200- 300 calories.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is my post workout snack?<\/strong> I usually have a protein shake and an apple or sweet potatoe medallions I made the night before.\u00a0 Easy to grab and go!<\/p>\n<h3>3.\u00a0 EXTRA UNDIES &amp; BRA<\/h3>\n<p>When I get my sweat on,\u00a0 I want to be in and out as fast possible as I don`t want to spend 2 hours at the gym or class! \u00a0But a lot of times I am not heading straight home afterwards and there is nothing WORSE than sweaty skivvies!\u00a0<strong> Just keep an extra pair in a little\u00a0separate\u00a0bag in your gym bag at all times so not to worry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>4. EXTRA BAGGIES<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to an extra bag of undies, I keep an extra bag for the sweaty gear so it doesn`t touch the rest of my goods!<\/p>\n<h3>5.
