What made you decide to join FIT\u00a0CHICKS?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>I lack\u00a0the\u00a0discipline to work out on my own. <\/strong> Several years ago I bought a home gym.\u00a0 Not\u00a0the best use\u00a0of\u00a0my money. \u00a0I make much better use\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0gym now with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\">the\u00a0Fierce in 8 program<\/a>.\u00a0<strong> I also like knowing that there is a group\u00a0of\u00a0ladies that hold me accountable when I don\u2019t come. <\/strong> Your absence is noticed and that motivates me to do whatever I have to in order to make\u00a0the\u00a02 classes a week.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>2.\u00a0\u00a0 What is\u00a0the\u00a0biggest change you have seen in your life since joining FIT\u00a0CHICKS?\u00a0 How has fitness and nutrition changed your life for\u00a0the\u00a0better?<\/h3>\n<p>I try not to focus on weight.\u00a0 At 5\u20198\u201d I will not weigh 140lbs and be healthy.\u00a0 Instead <strong>I measure success based on how I feel and how my clothes fit.<\/strong> I am only 3 camps in to this journey but have already noticed that some\u00a0of\u00a0my suits are a wee bit big \u2013 so far mostly in\u00a0the\u00a0waist but it has to start somewhere.<strong> I have dropped 5.5 inches overall so far.<\/strong> I have changes in my fitness test including:<\/p>\n<div>Burpees start 17\u00a0 \/ Now 21<\/div>\n<div>Push Ups Start 15 \/ Now 26<\/div>\n<div>Jump Squats 40 \/ now 47<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I still struggle a little bit on\u00a0the\u00a0nutrition side.\u00a0 <strong>Did I mention I consider this a journey\u2026<\/strong> Signing up for class also ensures I leave work at a reasonable time twice a week to do something for me.\u00a0 With my job, that is sometimes hard to accomplish.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>3. Have you tried any FIT\u00a0CHICKS\u00a0recipes?\u00a0 If so what was your favorite?<\/h3>\n<p>I have made the\u00a0<a title=\"Wellness Wednesday \u2013 Omelet Muffins are so delicious!\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/2012\/02\/wellness-wednesday-omelet-muffins-are-so-delicious\/\">omelet muffins<\/a>.\u00a0 They are very good!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>4. What tools do you use to keep you on a healthy track outside\u00a0of\u00a0class? Do you use\u00a0the\u00a0FIT\u00a0CHICKS\u00a0Workout Map?<\/h3>\n<p>So it is confession time.\u00a0 Until\u00a0the\u00a0launch\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\">the\u00a0Fierce in 8 program<\/a> I was still not really doing a lot outside\u00a0of\u00a0classes.\u00a0 <strong>I love\u00a0the\u00a0Workout Map! I don\u2019t have to guess, hum and ha about doing\u00a0the\u00a0same old cardio again, I just follow\u00a0the\u00a0map.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>5.\u00a0 If you could give one piece\u00a0of\u00a0positive advice to a\u00a0chick\u00a0just starting on her fitness journey, what would it be?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Stick with it.<\/strong> I am not sure it will ever get any easier but <strong>you will notice how much more you can do each and every week.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>6.\u00a0 Do you have a healthy trick or tip that you use that you could share?<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to lacking discipline, I have no will power.\u00a0<strong> I use\u00a0the\u00a0\u201cif you should not eat it, don\u2019t buy it\u201d approach to grocery shopping.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>5.
