The absolute worse thing you can do is starve yourself the rest of the day in anticipation for a holiday feast. Stay on track by eating your 3 healthy meals and a couple of snacks if you need to, that way you won&#8217;t get to the party famished and polish off the entire tray of canapes by yourself!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/canape-150x150.gif\" alt=\"canape\" title=\"canape\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-448\" \/>Have a healthy, low-cal but high-volume snack before heading out on the town, things like miso soup, a large salad topped with hard boiled eggs or tuna, a green smoothie or even a bowl of oatmeal are all fab ideas. That way when you get to the event, you can scope out the food and make the best choices. Sure you can have a treat or two, but you will be in control and not your uncontrollable hunger pains!<\/p>\n<p>So stay on track with your healthy eating and enjoy the holidays, Chicks!!<\/p>\n<p>Have a FABULOUS day!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Fit Chick said to me&#8230;.EAT!!!
