Most people tend to eat the same foods over and over and never try anything new. This week, I&#8217;d love for you to make it your goal to try 2 new foods. And that&#8217;s 2 new HEALTHY foods (ie. fruits and veggies!) not the new 100 cal snack pack that&#8217;s on the market.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few of my fave fruits and veggies that you may not have tried yet:<\/p>\n<p>thai young coconuts &#8211; the water is delicious to drink and super healthy, and the chicklets always gobble up the coconut meat before I can get any!<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-368\" title=\"pic_coconut\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/pic_coconut-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"pic_coconut\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/pic_coconut-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/pic_coconut.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>kale &#8211; this leafy green is jam packed with <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-369\" title=\"kale-171x300\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/kale-171x300-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"kale-171x300\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>nutrients. I like mine satueed in a little olive oil and sprinkled with capers.<\/p>\n<p>jicama &#8211; this is a great root veggie that is served raw. Sprinkle it with cajun spice or use it to dip in guacamole and salsa. It&#8217;s fab if you want something crunchy, but low cal. <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-370\" title=\"jicama5\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/jicama5-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"jicama5\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So step outside of your comfort zone and pick up a new fruit or veggie this week.
