I wish I could say I have some fab plans for R&amp;R this weekend but <strong>I am actually heading to Ottawa withe Jackie, our Chief Chick Sergeant, to spread some FC luv at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalwomenshow.com\/ottawa\/index.html\">Ottawa Women&#8217;s Show<\/a> <\/strong>so I will be working all weekend.\u00a0 But that will not stop me from trying <strong>to stay on track with my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/?p=1244\">5 healthy goals this week<\/a><\/strong>&#8230;here is the update as to how I have been doing:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><strong>UPDATE ON LAURA\u2019S 5 GOALS THIS WEEK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><strong>1. Attend 2 Bikram Yoga Classes in addition to my cardio \/ weight routine<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">I have not made it one class so far this week and am now afraid I won&#8217;t be able to go over the weekend as I am at the show.\u00a0 For next week, I am putting this as top priority to get these 2 classes in! I also feel like I was kind of purposely avoiding yoga which sends me a red flag that I am avoiding dealing with something emotionally.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t hide from it in yoga (bring on the waterworks during camel pose!) so I am committing to next week to schedule these in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">2.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/?p=1114\"> <\/a><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitchicks.ca\/blog\/?p=1114\">Drink 1 green smoothie everyday<\/a> (at least 2 cups of greens ie. spinach, kale, swiss chard in each)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">This one I have been doing faithfully!\u00a0 As I mentioned in a previous post, I was challenging my self to give up coffee for green smoothies.\u00a0 Well, I came to realize just how much I LOVE my coffee so have now started including the green smoothies for nutritional value and maxing my coffee at 2 a day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><strong>3. Walk a min of 10k steps on my pedometer daily<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">I have been hitting my 10k \/ day &#8211; yippee! Yesterday, I only got to 7688 steps but made up for it the day prior with 13678 so I feel that balanced out:)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><strong>4. Get my legs waxed! (Sounds terrible but I have been putting it off forever and it makes me feel good when I don\u2019t feel like I have an extra layer of clothing\/ fur\u00a0on!)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">Been deliquent and am still a yeti!\u00a0 But I am making the appointment for next week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><strong>5. Make the Stuffed Peppers with Quinoa that I have had on my \u201d Delicious, Healthy Must Try Recipe\u201d List.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">I am going to attack this recipe in Ottawa this weekend for Jackie and I post show.\u00a0My family lives in Ottawa so I am going to take over Mama J&#8217;s kitchen. I am sure she won&#8217;t mind&#8230;as long as they turn out!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font: 13.0px Arial\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px\">So now I am off to pack so have a super fab weekend, Chicks, and we will keep ya posted on how the show goes!
