In Amanda’s words:
“At the age of 9, I lost my best friend and older sister. After this devastating loss I turned to food for comfort, as many do and looked at food with a new type of relationship forming that wasn’t always a healthy one. Food fed an empty place in her heart and void in my life that I wasn’t sure how to fill at the time.
Years passed with this continued vicious cycle of unhealthy habits until June of 2008 that Laura and I decided that we were going to live the life we knew we were meant for and atlas FITCHICKS was born. With FIT CHICKStaking off and becoming a focus for my life I knew if I was going to promote it, I had to truly live it and changed my self-sabotaging habits for good.
Of course, we are all human and there are pizza days snuggling with my cat (yes I loved them lol) but the balance is finally here. As well as the passion for igniting this health living lifestyle and helping women all over Canada find your inner FIT CHICK. It is why I love getting up every day and I can’t wait to share it with you! Together we can all make an impact and change our lives for the greater good and in turn help change the lives of the loved ones around us!
